As more and more programs move toward Evidenced-Based (EB) models, it is useful for practitioners to understand how evidence is created and what goes into knowledge production.

Eliminating Health Disparities Initiative (EHDI) encourages evidence-based practices or promising practices where appropriate for clients served, but also allows grantees to develop and implement their own promising strategies or practices based on knowledge and experience of what works within specific population groups or communities. During this training participants will learn through a case study about how practices become EB as well as a model for documenting community-based evidence called Practice-Based Evidence (PBE).  This training was presented via webinar on 1/26/2018 as part of the EHDI Training Series.
