Kshitiz Karki is a policy nerd who is driven to learn how different innovations can be employed to integrate gender mainstreaming in policies. She is passionate about conducting pragmatic research and co-create knowledge to advance gender equity. Kshitiz is a Master of Public Policy graduate with a background in Civil Engineering. In her home country Nepal, Kshitiz used her analytical and evaluation skills to bridge data, programs, and strategy to solve economic and social problems at local and national level. Kshitiz has substantial experience conducting qualitative and quantitative participatory action research and working with marginalized groups on participatory policy and program implementation. She applies her creativity, compassion and attention to detail when solving problems for clients. Her professional goals include engaging in participatory research and evaluation, integrating holistic gender approaches in development and evaluation, and building power and realizing rights of communities.
