Dave Ellis is a nationally recognized leader in addressing Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs) and generational trauma. As the Founding Executive Director of the New Jersey Office of Resilience, he spearheaded statewide efforts to prevent, mitigate, and heal the lasting impacts of ACEs. With a strong focus on community engagement, Dave facilitated dialogues and fostered public-private partnerships aimed at building resilience and promoting wellbeing at the local, national, and international levels.

He has shared his expertise extensively across sectors, serving as a lead trainer and facilitator for ACE Interface in New Jersey, including collaborations with the New Jersey Education Association. Dave’s work continues to influence trauma-informed approaches in education, health, and community systems throughout the country.
