Nina is a licensed social worker, with experience as an ICWA Social Worker and Community Organizer. As a Native and Asian American woman, she holds a personal commitment to community building and advocacy, specific to social justice and community enhancement. In her social service work experience, she has honed her abilities in direct service, community outreach and strategic planning. In her work, she uses every opportunity to connect and build upon community partnerships to develop innovative solutions to address disparities, as well as taking the opportunity to advocate for families with a cultural, community perspective. Nina holds a high passion for her cultures, which inspire her to advocate for cultural humility to empower people and communities of color. She holds an aspiration in working with individuals, families, and communities to thrive from the impossible to the possible!
