Dr Grant served as a Fellow with the CREATE Initiative
Dr Grant served as a Fellow with the CREATE Initiative led by social scientists at the University of Minnesota. He has been doing extensive research on the challenges of combating gentrification with an “ecologically-sound development without displacement paradigm” for many years, and spoke to participants at this workshop about the challenges of this given both long-term and current blocks to economic, environmental and racial justice in the United States.
